East Grinstead & District Lions Club

50 Years of Service

The Club has been serving the people of East Grinstead and District from 1968 to 2018.

The Club is part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service club organisation in the world, with more than 1.3 million members, serving their communities in 205 countries. The Lions Club year runs from 1st July to 30th June. The purposes and ethics for our organisation can be read on the following pages.

We are very active in and around East Grinstead. For example in the year 2016/2017 we donated over £34,000 to local and international charities, including disaster funds in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Our members, men and women from East Grinstead and surrounding villages, also gave over 3800 hours of voluntary service. If you think you can help, share our outlook on life and would like to have some fun at our many social get togethers then come and join us. This site is relatively new and continues to be developed and expanded. Please read on to find out what we do and perhaps what you might be able to do if you join us.    Membership is normally by invitation but if you are interested joining us please download the Membership Enquiry Form from the Club Page and complete your contact details and then email it back to us or send your contact details direct via email at: eganddlions@gmail.com or contact the Club Secretary Richard Maynard on 0845 833 9506 or make yourself known via the Contact Us page. We would be pleased to welcome you to one of our meetings where you can have an opportunity to see what we do and talk to the team.
